Good evening Tumblr!
And first of all: a million thanks to all of you for the many (many) likes, comments and messages you’ve sent me over the past few days. I shall endeavour to get back to you all in the coming days…
I have, as you may have noticed, not been around much (or in fact at all) recently. The strange workings of the Life of Quango have conspired to keep me away from the internet for a few days and my tumblr has been living out of the queue for a while.
Nothing bad, though - indeed quite the opposite! My absense has been caused by a combination of rather nice things :)
I have been busy getting a new job, meeting friends, staying out late, reacquainting myself with the countryside and courting the most amazing person in the world. I have had the epitome of a wonderful time. Pictures have been taken (though not of all of the above) and will - eventually - make their way onto my blog.
For now, though, I will be carrying on with the documentary of my recent travels in France and catching up. I am looking forward to seeing what’s been going on while I’ve been away…
